Fusion Welding

Direct fusion of base metals without filler wire.

Always test on a test piece.

    Test on a test piece first

    Real-world materials vary — alloy, surface condition, thickness tolerances. Always verify your settings on a scrap piece from the same batch before welding production parts.

  2. 02

    Ventilation matters

    Galvanized steel, aluminum, and titanium produce fumes that require proper extraction. Work in a well-ventilated area or use local exhaust ventilation.

  3. 03

    Surface preparation is critical

    Clean, degreased surfaces give the most consistent results. Remove paint, oil, rust, and oxide layers before welding — especially for aluminum and copper.
